I have worked for a number of organisations throughout my career working with our people for our people. I have spent a number of years working for the Ruapehu District Council in the Māori sector and in Emergency Management. I was previously an Ambassador to UNICEF NZ pushing for Government to have a strong focus on our tamariki.
I have spent most of my working career for the Ministry of Social Development, starting at the age of 18. I joined Wellstop in 2019 where I worked as a Coordinator and facilitated the Mates and Dates programme in Taranaki schools, a programme aimed at sexual violence prevention through education. I have since returned to the Ministry of Social Development as a manager, currently being the youngest manager in MSD.
This kaupapa and journey that we are embarking on is of great importance and something that I am proud to be apart of!
